Union Square Eye Care launches new clinical trials unit to expand access to innovative vision therapies
Union Square Eye Care is proud to announce the launch of its new Clinical Trials Unit, dedicated to expanding patient access to promising investigational therapies designed to preserve and improve vision.
This new initiative reflects Union Square Eye Care’s continued commitment to advancing eye health and bringing patients access to innovative treatment opportunities. All clinical studies conducted through the unit are IRB-approved and designed with patient safety as the highest priority.
The Clinical Trials Unit is led by Erik Kruger, MD, former director of a large retinal and research practice in Pennsylvania. Supporting the program is Mark Kupersmith, MD, an experienced neuro-ophthalmology clinical trial investigator with extensive expertise in vision-related research.
Together with an experienced clinical research team and certified study technicians, Union Square Eye Care is committed to delivering a streamlined, high-quality experience for both patients and referring physicians participating in clinical research.
