Jay Wisnicki, MD, FAAO, FACS, FAAP, FNYAM grew up in New York and studied computers and electrical engineering in college, then went to medical school and specialized in ophthalmology.  He is a world- renowned strabismus surgeon, well published, and lectures nationally and internationally.  He is the former Chairman of the Beth Israel Ophthalmology Department, but still serves as a clinical professor of Ophthalmology & Pediatrics at Mt. Sinai. Union Square Eye Care is Dr. Wisnicki’s vision of technology and medicine coming together. Dr. Wisnicki is a talented piano player, a fantastic snowboarder, and he cherishes every moment of family time with his wife (college professor) and their twins.
