Dr. Camille Cohen

Dr. Camille F. Cohen earned her Doctorate of Optometry, in 2014, from Salus University. She has her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from The University of Miami. She was a member of the Gold Key Honor Society and has a background in private and retail practice settings.
Dr. Cohen served as the 2017-2019 Director of Communications for the National Optometric Association and as the 2021-2023 Advisory Board Member for Women in Optometry. Currently, she serves as the Chair of the American Academy of Optometry’s Fellowship Engagement Committee.
She was the 2018 NOA Service Award recipient, for community service projects, in Brooklyn, NY, as well as Montego Bay, JA. She was named one of the 2020 Most Influential Women in Optical by Vision Monday, with features in Women in Optometry and Eye Care Business Magazine. At the 2021 NOA Convention, she earned the Dr. Melvin Shipp Young Optometrist of the Year Award for her mentorship of students who struggle to pass board exams. Dr. Cohen became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry at the 2022 AAO meeting.
Dr. Cohen strives to provide compassionate comprehensive care to all patients, extending care to communities in need, and mentorship to students seeking guidance in their optometric careers. In her free time, she enjoys quality time with family and friends. Her lifelong mission is to spread joy and cultivate connections with those around her.
